This training takes a holistic approach to controlling our anger. The approach of the training is focusing on Awareness, Coping Strategies, and Lifestyle changes. In order to understand our behavior we first must recognize specific thoughts, feelings and behaviors which intensify feelings of anger and can lead to aggressive behaviors. Once one has the awareness then we move on to discuss coping strategies to prevent or reduce feelings of anger and prevent any aggressive behavior. Coping strategies include challenging thoughts, reducing physical and emotional arousal and modifying behavior. Then once we begin to internalize these new coping strategies new behaviors emerge and with that a general lifestyle change to where we improve our ability to think and better problem solve and therefore act more positively
