This workshop will give a basic understanding of Alberta’s health system and “how to” work with your doctor most effectively. Plain language is used to promote understanding for ESL participants. Session #2: Too Much Information ! What Do I Believe? - February 21 When trying to find information about their health, many New Canadians are confused by the amount of information that is available to them. This workshop will help the participants to understand what good health information is and how to advocate for themselves with their health care providers. Plain language is used to promote understanding for ESL participants.
