    HIV West Yellowhead is offering our HIV and Addictions session in Hinton, Edson and Whitecourt throughout the next few months. Attendance of the first session is not required. It is our hope that healthcare, social service workers and anyone who knows or works with people at risk or living with addiction will attend the session and be open to broadening their learning on the following subjects surrounding addictions: - Health culture - Reactions to conflict - Health care systems vs. street reactions - Understanding addictions - Pain control - Withdrawal - Bridging the gap between healthcare providers and people living with addictions - Common myths - and Effective strategies for service providers Lunch will be provided and there is no cost to attendees.     A new adventure every non-school day during Spring Break for ages 5-12 years! Programs run from 8-4pm, extended hour care available. Please pack a nutritious snack, lunch, outdoor clothing, bathing suit & towel. Minimum 9 children/day. If the program does not run we will notify you a week in advance. Each day will include a variety of crafts, games and activities.
